Foreclosure on the American dream
Home ownership, for better or worse, is a key part of the American culture. With every foreclosure on a house the American dream passes by the masses, a little bit more...

knowing how you plan out your photos makes me appreciate this more.
Love the colours here.
Sad situations though, very much the case for many people here in Ireland too.

How sad. The boarded up widows speak for it all.
It has become fashionable in this area for vacant rural houses to have their windows smashed. What a country.

Jeez, that's nice. Great colors. Amazing how this captures "Michigan" or "Detroit" in a lot of viewers' minds. Unfair to those places, perhaps, but a photo that says a lot.

One must not forget which entity passed the legislation to make ( or force) this possible. It makes no sense on all fronts

Was this taken from a moving car, or is that simulated? Great accentuation of the colours, and this almost looks slightly grainy - which it isn't - but your treatment has added a layer of formaity to an otherwise informal shot. We read about these horrors - Australia kind of skirted around them, and we don't have the major problems of foreclosure, but hose prices continue to go up and up and the prospect of ownership slips from more and more.
