    This is absolutely stunning!
    What a dramatic capture. All those sparkling colors!
    You've got lots of good elements here. The sunset is just amazing. Wonderful wonderful warm and bright colors that reflects beautifully in the wet sand. Specially the lights from the wheel! I'm a big fan of exposures including the sun in the frame, and the way the sun shines through the jetty is very dramatic. The water has a really nice and soft sense of motion. Was the wheel spinning? I could've been cool with a long exposure on the wheel. Makes a really cool effect with all the lights :)
    I wonder if the horizon is tilting pretty much to the right or if it's just the wave making that effect...? I would probably try to straighten it up.
    Again, very dramatic capture with lots of cool ingredients. I love it!

    the wheel was spinning, but not at this moment, i have a few shots like this with it in motion.... but I like it frozen at this moment in it's color change. Lights/patterns on the wheel change quickly.... really long exposures on the wheel tend to just make the wheel color shades of white. I tend to raise my ISO a bit to shorten up my shutter speed to capture the different colors. As far as the horizon goes.... if you stare at the Black n White skeleton of this image, you'll see a cross (squashed), defined by the waves and horizon on the left and the docks and shadow of the docks on the right. Call me crazy, but, i felt a balance in that and I didn't want to disturb that relationship by tilting the image..... not to say I won't wake up tomorrow and do it :) lately I've been getting away from automatically fixing horizons, ... or at least being more relaxed and selective with the process... sometimes it can really disturb the way an image feels to me... in relationship to the original snap shot.

    Thanks. No, lyrics are from a Band called "Y&T"... song is called "Winds of Change" from the record entitled BLACK TIGER... great song.
