Historical lines

see garbage! There were lots. This is not green but DIRTY water.
Historical lines by Paavani.
History moves in contradictory waves, not in straight lines.

This is a water tank at Nahar Garh fort for storing water. Now, there is hardly any water and lots of garbage is thrown there by tourist. When will we understand the value of precious things like old buildings and history.

the same is the case with Golconda fort in Hyd, The fort is known for its water supply to the top of the hill and the storage tanks which they have built during that time. but now, its a garbage dump, u can find countless empty mineral water bottles in those tanks....

The problem is that we have so much of history that ppl dont really know the value of it :(

Wow, amazing capture Paavni. But sad that in India where we talk about 'Vaastu' of our own houses, we hardly care about the hygiene and aesthetics of our outdoors, our precious heritage and historical sites...
Talk about civic sense! There's none..

Thanks a lot everyone for liking the concept.
such issues need immediate actions and its photographers responsibility too to make people aware! After all what we will click or how much post processing we will do to make a picture beautiful. As a human we need clean environment first! Monuments are our culture and heritage reflections.

nice composition! the issue of garbage you are trying adress here is very relevant. However, there are two problems. One, there are NO dustbins (or very few hidden somewhere). Where do you expect people to throw their garbage? And where there are dustbins, there is no system of collection and disposal.

Two, there is no conciousness about not throwing garbage, among the masses. 'Keep the environment clean' is an abstract concept that does not translate into action in the lives of most people.
