I needed a solution to carry my Pentax K5 when biking around. I already had
a Lowepro Toploader zoom 50 AW, so I decided to modify it in a simple way.
I simply added an horizontal strap on the back of the bag so I could fit 2 velcro straps that'd go on the handlebars. To keep it in place, I simply made a simple elastic band with to hooks and used the existing plastic rings on the bottom of the bag.
Materials needed :
- Sewing kit
- Few inches of regular / strong nylon strap (to add on the bag)
- Few inches of velcro straps (to mount on the handlebars)
- Some kind of durable elastic band
- 2 hooks.
