The Church Of Scientology

The Church of Scientology's NYC headquarters!

It seems like Scientologists have really stepped up their recruiting efforts in the city. It seems like they've been all over Times Square lately, handing out cards and inviting people over to the headquarters. One of these days, I'm going to take them up on that offer, and go in. Just to see what the deal is. I'm curious to see if it really is as loony as I've heard.

That's a beautiful photo.

I lived in New York for about 2 years, and went to the Church of Scientology New York daily. Not sure what in the heck you've heard, but they're some very down-to-earth people that simply like to help others.

I haven't been there since 2004 though, and they've completely renovated the place since then. That big sign and so forth is new since I've been there.
