a concrete block

near Socorro, New Mexico, used to be a pond full of lives, I saw hints/marks/footprints of shell fishes, water fowls, racoons etc. now all gone.

Wow - this is fantastic. I love the colour (or lack there of) and I love the textures.

I do agree with the last post though that the cinder block is maybe a bit too static. The zoom-blur is nice, however it would be great if there was some motion blur on the brick.

Still, a fantastic photo.

Fascinating shot - the block almost blends into the cracked earth at first, and then it looks like it was dropped and created the cracks in a radial explosion. Imaginative.
