Claude Jones...The Amoeba Farm

Claude Jones was a band I managed...it seems like a lifetime ago. Communal living on a farm in Virginia with the Rappahanock River running through the property. This photo was taken by the late Steve Szabo for a story on the band that ran in the Washington Post. Pictured in the photo are--sitting on the wall left to right--Debbie Jones, Claude Jones (sound man), Michael Oberman (me), Mike Henley (Hammond Organ), Reggie Brisbane (on the column, drums), Keith Krokyn (on the other column, road manager), Connie Sprague, Frank "Jay" Sprague (bass), Franny Day (guitar and vocals)--laying on the ground...Joe Triplett (vocals and more), standing in front of the fence is John Hall (equipment, vocals and Red-Ass-Rhythm section), sitting behind the gate Peter Blachly (lead guitar, vocals) and standing behind the gate Steve Cox (roadie)...dog is Hud.
