    You'll see this bird featured on the sign to the Eyre Bird Observatory nearby. This particular one (and the only one we saw there) was perched on the Historic Telegraph Station Chimney looking the part in the wind.

    As b52Starr says - also called Leadbeater's Cockatoo, or Pink Cockato -- a stunning bird whatever name you give it. Reminds me to add some more photos from earlier observation of a nesting pair on the Murchison River.

      Ah, my favorite psittacine! Also called the leadbeater's cockatoo is so pretty in pink. This looks to be a "good hair day".
