Windy Acres
This is where we are staying at the moment. Windy Acres is a frangipani nursery in Carnarvon, Western Australia. We are looking after two Irish Wolfhounds, a number of chickens and hundreds of plants. The temperature has been between 38-40c since we arrived a week ago. Now cyclone Iggy is off the coast to the north of us and making it windy.

Redback Spider
(Latrodectus hasselti) This redback spider was guarding its larger prey. If you look carefully there is another small spider on top of the dead spider. This could be the smaller male redback. This spider is endemic to Australia and is one of the most dangerous venomous spiders in Australia. Seen in Perth, WA
