Checking for Radioactive Devices

There were various security checkpoints at the Inauguration and parade.

I had an invitation to the Inauguration (thanks to my Congressman) and I went in via another checkpoint. We were frisked but were not required to go through any metal detectors. Our bags were not checked. And there was no evidence of any other passive detectors.

This security checkpoint in this photo was for the parade only. No such warning was posted at the Inauguration security.
