San Diego Sunset
On my to do list while in San Diego was seeing a sunset over the ocean. Seeing as every other day of my life is spent on the opposite side of this ocean, where only a sunrise is possible.
We chose today, New Years Day while another friend was visiting with Bethany aswell.
Driving out to the ocean I was a bit worried that it would be nothing but clouds....but of course, without clouds, a sunset could never be this spectacular.
It varied from lovely light colours, through to a sky on fire after the sun had completely set.

Day 7 of 7 - Eat, Drink and be Merry
Nothing fancy for today's photo.
Just me, my niece and my cousin.
On my mum's side of the family, we always joke that we should have been Italian or Greek or something.
We do so much food....really good food. It's just insane.
And then some of us sleep.

Day 6 of 7 - Into the AM.
Its technically christmas day now.....but as always, the i'm still awake from the previous day rule applies for this one.
My cousin came to stay tonight seeing as I was home alone.
We ate yum cha for dinner, baked apple pies, ate the mini apple pies made from the big pie leftovers and then watched National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation, affectionately known as 'The Griswolds'.
I watch this movie every christmas eve, and every year I end up falling asleep before its over because I don't start watching it until its really late in the evening.
One christmas I will get around to watching the other christmas movies I own, but for this year, the tradition stands.
