Nokia N91 music phonevolume and voice recorder controls main menu button now playing info firewire connection ![]() This is the N91 from Nokia. 4GB hard disc storage (the first mobile to have it think), which leaves space for about 1000 songs - same as an ipod mini.

It has a normal headphone socket, and plays back either through headphones or via it's inbuilt speaker, which is pretty low powered, but a nice feature - my daughters love it, they can play music and carry it around with them without having to wear headphones or dangle some portable speakers! It plays MP3 and AAC formats, not the proprietary DRM (fairplay) that Apple use from their music store obviously though. Connectivity is not too shabby either - firewire, bluetooth, 3G and, as seems to be de rigeur for a fair few highend phones now, WiFi. Not able to run Skype though. Oh, it's also got a 2 Megapixel camera and FM radio. Holding out for the new series 60 OS seems to have been a wise thing to do. A taste of things to come I reckon. Did I mention it's also a phone too? Would you like to comment?Sign up for a free account, or sign in (if you're already a member). |
