I stopped at the mailboxes and the Apex lift tickets that I redeemed through Airmiles arrived, which means that we can go skiing tomorrow. I threw both hands in the air and did a happy stomp/dance. Now our neighbors KNOW I'm crazy.
Day 27: Lunch. Tortilla soup, with a dollop of (fat free) sour cream (I'm heavy-handed with the jalapeño peppers), and a sprinkling of cheddar cheese. #janphotoaday
It's the bi-weekly boys' club, which means it's the bi-weekly girls' night with Emily. This includes a monstrous bucket of popcorn, a movie, and our butts firmly planted on the couch. (Emily's movie choice tonight was Barbie: The Diamond Castle.)(She's OK

Day 25: Something I made. A future NBA star! Well, maybe. The son who usually prefers reading/writing/building signed up for basketball. Today is his very first game! #janphotoaday

Day 24: Guilty pleasure. Tea, sweetened with ... Splenda. (I'd have used wine instead, but that's limited to my "cheat day" at present.) #janphotoaday
Day 23: Something old. This toboggan hangs on the upper wall of our stairway. #janphotoaday

Day 20: Shoes. I spend the bulk of winter in skirts/dresses, tights, and my knee-high boots. #janphotoaday

I can cook, and I can bake, but I cannot decorate with frosting. I can, however, do this. (It's Graham's "friend birthday party" today.)
