Temporary office area, front of church
While waiting for a friend to install a long-wallmounted desk on that wall, where the table is... The wide window there is where the original church's front door used to be, and inside that wall is the original letter slot. This wall is opposite the original tiny altar, which is now the master bedroom. The front doors are now located behind that white camouflage net curtain, and were punched through what was the church's original side wall in the 1970s. They open onto the street, the way a front door should. It took me a while to figure out that the reason the front doors used to be on the "side" like this is that the church was situated parallel to the street in order that the altar could point east. Or for some other reason...who knows.
