Been away. Stayed with some friends in a lovely cottage in the Lake District. It was lots of fun :)

These two really wanted a photo together by this window.

 

I think it was snowing when I took this. Winter just doesn't want to clear off yet. *sigh*

 

Also, the village we were staying in was the village Beatrix Potter lived in. This cottage we were in used to be the village shop, which Beatrix included in some of her illustrations.

The building you can see out of this window used to be the blacksmith's, I think. And the village pub is lovely, by-the-way.
