Exempt Griswolds; Faribault, MN

1/15th of Minnesota's wild Griswold population can be seen here guarding an unused portion of the CP (former ICE/IMRL/SOO/MILW) Owatonna Sub through Faribault, MN.

IC&E stopped crossing through here regularly in the winter of 2008-2009 when they gave their business with Met-Con to Progressive Rail, which comes into town via this line, but stops 5 blocks north of this location where the former CGW cuts west to reach the cannery. CP used the line for car storage in 2009, and I don't think it's been used much (at all?) since. CP seems to have a thing for keeping unused RoW around the Twin Cities, but with the new management, who knows what'll happen?
