Outside, in the sunlight, you can get a slightly better look, and perhaps appreciate the scale of these objects. I also happen to like the scepter-and-orb look.

Not these particular ones, but we have tried wetting some of the others. The technique is to dip them in a saturated sugar solution, so that very little sugar dissolves from the sculpture and a minimal amount of moisture is added. While it *seems* to dry out in about a day, in practice there is then moisture trapped deep inside that slowly works its way out over the course of weeks. So, we're looking into ways to bake that out.
