Well, yes, of course. The light eyes moving would be an attention-getter.
I meant the mouth... The fun jagged teeth maybe wouldn't be as spooky in the dark
Still, think it's a spiffy project and product.

Excellent. Could it be made to detect when someone's there to snap at? LDR? PIR? Or maybe it could be normally open with a sensor for fingers in the mouth!

Certainly could do that. I was building several other pumpkins that I didn't have time to finish before maker faire/halloween-- one of them used the same infrared motion detection sensors that we use on our LED tables.... Maybe next year. =)
