Chaplains

These photos were taken last year as part of a project to show the human side of the college where I work. Pictured are the college chaplains who are often seen joking and paling around. I'm fascinated with the 'truer' side of humanity, the part which we rarely share with others and build walls to protect. After they were finished horsing around, they began speaking from the heart and I was fortunate to capture this moment.

Regardless of religion/spirituality/moral/ethical beliefs, at the core we're all fragile beings, led to believe that we're superior to all other creatures on this planet. It's an error to think we're stronger than we really are and to forget about our weaknesses. I hope to capture more of this side of humanity in future projects.
