We learned about cuisine from the Burgundy province of France.
Escargot or snails are often eaten there and this is a escargot recipe with a garlic butter topping. I'm not a big fan of snails, especially after I got sick after eating a bad batch when I was child, but I guess this is just one of those prerequisite dishes you have to learn about to get the full French cuisine experience.
