Going through my archives I found this one from last Easter.
The ice lagoon of Fjallsárlón had partially frozen so we could walk upto where the icebergs from the glacier Fjallsjökull brake off into the lagoon. Being cold it was relatively safe to go near the glacier. The lake froze in very windy conditions that created these flakes when pushed onto the edge of the ice by wind and waves.
The Fjallsjökull glacier flows down the flanks of Iceland highest mountain, Öræfajökull. It is also Iceland largest and feared volcano.
