Bursting Aurora![]() The coldest night this winter was last friday. I was -20°C. But thank god there was no wind so it wasn´t as bad as it sounds.
Went out at around 23:30 to shot because I had guests earlier that evening. Shot some fairly active aurora at a nearby lake Kleifarvatn. When I came home I heard that there had been extremely active Aurora at around 22:30, putting the whole sky on fire for around 15 minutes. Now I am never having guests again hehe... except if you bring some beer. 30 seconds & f3.5 @ ISO 500. Used lots of photoshop tweeks to bring out the details: -Dodge&Burn on the foreground -Curves and high radius sharpening on the Aurora plus increased saturation CommentsBill Gracey
