little face

little face by origami joel.
Made from baking parchment that I had precreased previously for making "tiny tesses" - the paper works for little masks too, although this piece wasn't big enough for a full face. But I like this fragment anyway

i saw this in my contacts' recent photos, went to make some tea and when i walked back into the room this looked awesome!

there's something about the hand that made the art, and holding that art, in a lifesize photo on my screen that made the beauty more immediate.
