I’ve been thinking about getting a new camera. One that is new and improved. One that costs more money.

I’ve saved my Christmas money and my birthday money, and I still don’t have enough to get what I want.

Trouble is, I don’t know exactly what I want. Is a digital SLR really worth the money?

When my little Nikon Coolpix 3100 takes pretty good shots, it’s hard to justify the upgrade. But there’s so much more I’d like to do with a better camera.

I’ve found a lot of pleasure in taking photographs. I like the creativity and the thrill of that “perfect capture”.

I guess I just need to make a choice.
