EOS 400D: Get your Kit out! (15/365)

EOS 400D: Get your Kit out! (15/365) by orangeacid.
This is the camera that has taken every one of my pictures for the last fortnight and a bit - and bearing in mind that I've been doing gig pics, clones, and new-years stuff, on top of 365, it has already taken in excess of 1500 pictures.

This is a Canon 400D DSLR (Digital Single Lens Reflex) with the 18-55mm f3.5-5.6 mk II kit lens (see the nasty pun in the name?). This was taken with my ickle Samsung v800 point-and-shoot - hence the nasty grain, unsharpness etc.

I have a few I could do up for you (well, about 100), but if you want something a little more portrait-y, we could meet up sometime? Like at Darley Park or something.

Yes, it is also known as the Digital Rebel XTi - I believe that is the name that was created to appeal to a US market. EOS 400D is the 'European' name, as far as I know.

I think I might've seen a picture of you on one of your contact's streams with a similar camera... you have the 350D/Rebel XT? Enjoying it?

I hope that was a joke it betters the D80 spec wise :P feels a less sturdy though but thats probably due to its weight/size I love mine :) and even though the lens isnt wide enough for me th kit is suprsingly versitile.

Peace

Lol it's grown a bit now. With the battery grip and flashgun its like 3x the size :-P

In a year or two I'd like to think I'll have a 40d.
