Yep, it's the Debian Testing Linux distribution, gnumeric, gnome, pidgin, etc.
Work laptop with enslaved Windows XP running under VMWare in Fedora 8 Linux. I have found the notebook handy for PSK31 too using fldigi
Rigblaster Datajack Plug-and-Play from West Mountain Radio - allows the computers to do all those digital modes on HF.
Loaner MFJ-259B Antenna Analyzer. Although it takes a little patience to use it, a very useful tool and saved hours!
Icom IC-2200H VHF FM Transceiver, for simplex communication and ARES nets. The transmission power was really necessary for me to be heard by many of the locals in my hilly corner of Clackamas County.
MFJ-969 Deluxe Versa Tuner II with Roller Inductor - this will tune anything I have even if it is a bit time consuming to spin the knobs.
Icom IC-718 HF Transceiver - does CW, SSB, AM and digital modes with the Rigblaster, and tunes from 500kHz (below the AM broadcast band) up to 30 MHz. Inexpensive but reliable and featureful basic rig.
Clock running Coordinated Universal Time.
Clock Radio on Pacific Time.
MFJ-4602 Window Feed Through panel.
Band plan courtesy of Icom, picked it up at SEA-PAC.
Astron RS-35M - 13.8V DC power supply capable of 35 amperes - dang near being able to start an engine, or transmit signals around the planet.
Schematic drawing of HF station.
Scenic views, the climbing rose, and a thermometer.
The lovely XYL who graciously encourages me!

Here's my updated Radio shack. New additions include: 1) An Icom IC-2200H 2m transceiver for local radio nets, 2) a 24-hour UTC clock, 3) more tidying. The Antenna Analyzer is on loan from W7MSO (Thanks!) to produce the detailed SWR graphs using gnumeric on Linux.

I thought I was the only left-wing ham! You have the same rigs as me, 2200H and 718. :-)

Heh... welcome to the left-wing ham contingent. We are everywhere!

Good radios are good radios... mine have 'inexpensive, but good feature set for the modest price' as one of their selection criteria. I buy starting with modest stuff, and only do blowout fancy purchases when I'm really familiar and know exactly what I need and will use frequently.

I just get tired of the occasional outright racism I hear, though I guess that's why we have that big round knob......
