Sadly the Tinkerers weren't allowed to make drinks for the attendees, but that doesn't mean they couldn't light them on fire. Which this little 'bot did with great alacrity (after mixing it.)

The Tinkerers weren't allowed to make boozy drinks (that was for whoever had the concession contract) but that doesn't mean that robots couldn't mix and then ignite drinks. This is the pre-ignition phase.

From near to far...

Actually, I forgot who the nearest booth is. They were full on LED powerhouse though.

In the middle distance is Evil Mad Science Labs with Drinkbot 2.0 (serving up custom juice mixes for the event).

Furthest is BioCurios, a biology hackerspace in Sunnyvale. They had a petri dish teeming with tiny worms. They probably had other stuff too, but I was too fascinated by the worms to see it.

If you see cupcake cars you know you're at a real maker event. I think there were three and they were running around the whole museum with a little help of the freight elevator.
