My children and I are on a mission this year to learn more about how are foods go from the the farm to the table or store refrigerator. To that effect, I am writing to determine if you are aware of any pomegranate orchards in the valley that allow tours or perhaps suggestions on how to find one.. We are ready to get our hands dirty if possible and shadow a worker.

I know of a pomegranate orchard near Fresno/Madera that would probably love to give you a tour. They have a little store on their property. They are located right next to the T&D Willey Organic farm on Road 23 in Madera. I went on a tour at the T&D Willey farm the other day, and they said we could go over to the pomegranate orchard and have a picnic, so they seem pretty friendly.
