Weardale Ski Club Easter 2008 |
Just when I thought I'd miss the
delights of skiing in Weardale the snows
came. Makes up for leaving Avoriaz /
Morzine just as the big snows arrived
there. Thin but ski-able conditions
kept 20-30 people occupied both days.
F1 ran all the time F2 ran on Sunday and
for an hour on Monday. Good to see
people are still discovering the
delights of the club's pistes. Not sure
I'd of attempted any of it on telemark
kit - the girl must have been mad! Even
in thin conditions its still a great way
to spend a few hours. Maybe the lambing
storms bring a little bit more of the
white stuff in April.
