I love this. If I had the books, the bookcase or the room, I'd do it! HAHA I even tore a page out of a magazine not too long ago doing this same type of thing, but not necessarily with books, just whatever objects grouping them according to color. It looks amazing! :)

That's cool I have done that with my dvd collection but I need more dvds to make the transition smoother. From what I read it encourages you to pick up books you don't read as often. Too many times we have titles we go back to again and again while other sit on the shelf for ages forgotten. Not to mention it looks sweet.

well unless all your book just happen to turn out like that when you put them in order by subject and last name of the author... i think i would go crazy. see I'm a fan of the Dewey Decimal System and the son of a librarian. so I tend to be overly obsessive compulsive on the other side of the spectrum.
