What remains of the Morgan Street Bridge in Rockford, Illinois. It's been on the replacement list for some time and the process has finally been started. If you check my map, keep in mind that the location shown is where I take the photo from, not where the subject is.

A young Bald Eagle just about to make a close pass to an adult in a corn field north of Pecatonica, IL. They were about 100 yards off the road.

The 10th Hour Of The 6th Day For 52 Weeks Project Week 3 January 14
As I was concentrating upon finding ceiling tiles at the best sale price, my phone alarm went off, reminding me of my photo project commitment. I was at Menards in Freeport picking up some materials to fix up our rental house. I said, it would be wherever, whatever I'm doing and this was it. Yup, that's a toilet seat, seen there in the basket along with ceiling tiles. I did manage to "Save big money at Menards".

In Beaver Dam, Wisconsin, visiting my step son Matt. We were headed back to his house from the grocery store. They'd gotten around 5" of snow Thursday.

Moments before the Sun crested the horizon, things got a little intense. I was on my way to work and couldn't pass up taking some shots.
