7.7.7 - Midpoint for the MDGs

Singapore celebrities took to the streets on 7.7.7 to highlight the midpoint of the Millennium Development Goals.

Lim Yu Beng, Daniel Ong, Koh Chieng Mun and Kumar interviewed pedestrians to gauge attitudes and test their knowledge of global poverty.

In 2000, leaders from 189 nations signed the Millennium Declaration, a plan to halve extreme poverty by 2015 and eliminate it by 2025. Unfortunately, the world is not on track to meet these targets. More needs to be done if we are to Make Poverty History.
