Dodge 2

:O - FTW!!!!
Very cool.
Brilliant!
I'm not sold on these. Given the size I think you could have got a nice brick-built alternative.
Hell yeah, just noticed what they are!
I was thinking about adding some brick around these parts, to thicken them up... but then it was too late.
yumtown!
Let us into the secret then
seconded
It's a viking helmet with a 1x1 trans clear round inside. So. Total. Win. !
Agreed, I need to get me more recent sets
Also clever.
nice choice of part(s)
The use of the spearguns and robot hands here is inspired.
now that is the coolest part
i second the second-ing
i like the belt system. it fits perfectly.
click
hey i think this guy did the same thing here
larger back tires, WIN!
What piece is this that the claws are attached to?
Jovian, it's some double ended flex system part, It's technic.
Dodge 2 by Adrian Florea.
Based on the car from HL2. ...which is loosely based on the Dodge Charger I think.

Every now and again, something comes along that totally shakes up my Lego world. This has done just that. I can't begin to describe the awesomeness of this. I just hope that I can see it in person sometime.

Nice! Although, I don't really like the car. It was a pain to keep the gnome in there. >.<

I want one! A real one.

And yeah, looks like loosely a charger, but it does have a little bit of a challenger look to it too.

WOW this car is amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!! What a design, what a color!! And you even use useless pieces (those to attach elastic bands) and transforms them into beauty!

Congratulations!

Cor blimey!

Now this is an original path to take, and it looks ace becasue of it! The contrast of the front and rear looks great, and the unusual parts usage, of which the viking helmets and harpoons are only 2 examples, are stunning.

However, I must agree with many other commentees who say that your use of the elastic band sprues, wile cool, would look better as a few "real" parts. However, that's the only criticism I can think of. Good on you, now finish that Lambo!

Oh, maybe add this to the LUGnuts pool too, they'll love it!

Un-freaking real! There are so many complex ideas here that I would never even think of...like the viking helmets for lights, the weird rims and the elastic spurs in the engine...so much good stuff here!

Very nicely interpreted. Of course, in my view, the Halflife Charger/Challenger also owes a debt to the later model Chrysler product featured on Information Society's 1990 album Hack and acompanying videos.

Edit: better pic of the 1973 Plymouth Satellite Sebring.

Tyler, I hoped you'd like it, it was strongly influenced by your builds :D

Lino, Proudlove and Jake, I'm glad to see you guys' comments, coming from some of the best car builders out there, those are huge compliments. ..And Jake, sorry but I'm in the mood to build fighters now, no lambo for now.

Ley, that's an awesome cover, thanks for showing it. I think you shed some light on the charger/challenger issue a while back on CSF chat... I might remember wrong.

Yeah Adrian, that was me. I recall some piece of art that had it looking more like a Pontiac GTO. Of course there's not a lot of bodywork left on the car for identification purposes... As for Information Society, that was the leader's own car and they used it in a video.
