Happy Flickrversary (to meeee)!!!

Yes, my friends, it is indeed my one year anniversary/birthday on Flickr. I can't believe it's been that long...seems like taking pictures makes the year go by faster or something like that. At any rate, many thanks for your support, comments, critiques, and overall kindness. I've met wonderful people through this little (or huge, I suppose) community, some of whom I know just through comments and photos, and other fabulous people who I have been able to meet in person and never would have met otherwise!

I'm very thankful for Flickr, and what it has given me. A passion, more than anything else. Photography started as a hobby about a year and a half ago, and now it largely consumes me and my time (thank goodness I didn't discover it as a sophomore, but rather as a senior!). It's wonderful to watch yourself improve, and to get feedback and support along the way.

And now we move toward year two, where many silver ballet flats, far too many self-portraits, more adventures around the world, and a neverending fascination with colour will most likely continue to make appearances.
