Photobooth 40

I got to celebrate the 4-0 at a wee gathering of west coast comrades. Good food and wine (with specially marked labels) flowed. My friend even had a cocktail designed by the bar manager at West (that included some lovely bourbon!) to mark the occasion.

I asked for learning objectives

And this is what some of my type students want to learn in their first typography experience. I've warned them that learning type is like learning a language: You'll have to do it for the rest of your life if you want to get any good at it.
