My Project 365 set

PLEASE NOTE that my 365 is really a 366. Since 2008 was a leap year, I have an extra day in my set. And it's always been my intention to end on my 2009 birthday since I started the day after it in 2008. So, this project will be complete on January 21st, 2009.

Photos for the Project 365 group. The challenge is to take one photo everyday for an entire year.

I started on January 22nd, 2008. The photos here appear in chronological order - from the first one taken to the most recent (probably yesterday's or today's!) I usually write an entry with each image to provide context, share info, vent, crack a joke, tell a story...

So far (63 days in, as of 3/24/08) the project has been a compelling journey. I'm enjoying it for the most part - although it's much more time-consuming and labor-intensive than I'd anticipated. But I am committed to it. Hopefully, it's worth the investment.

I'm grateful for the document of my days and myriad moods, ways of being. I learn more about how to better use my camera and my eye all the time. It's a wonderful challenge. The project pushes me to engage more actively, not only with my photography practice, but also with the world-at-large. A great gift!
