Be seeing you

Be seeing you by Olivander.
Today marks the beginning of National Novel Writing Month. I'm off to ensconce myself in a small room and stare at the walls while hearing the voices of people who are not there. I won't be around Flickr much, if at all. We'll see you in December!

Thanks. , I'm sure my mom would disagree with you about the handwriting. She was always convinced I'd become a doctor because my penmanship was so illegible. :-)

Very nicely arranged and shot. I like the shiny gold color at the tip of the pen. Good luck with the voices!

I think your handwriting is cool. I kept forgetting, but this year I am finally going to attempt to write a novel in a month. Good luck! :)

Wow, I'm really blown away by the response to this picture!

That pen and Moleskine saved me last night. I've been writing most of my novel on a typewriter, but last night, wanting to spare the ears of others, I chose to bring my laptop to my local group's write-in at a coffee shop. I hadn't used this laptop in a long time, and the moment I fired up NoteTab, it blue-trapped. So out came my backup: the Moleskine!

Technology hates me.

Er, I DO have a Mac laptop, but my favorite word processor happens to be Windows-based. And as it turns out, Virtual PC 5 doesn't get along with Panther. I guess for next time I'll just install TextWrangler or something and bring the Powerbook.

I use Mellel during NaNoWriMo. It's a multilingual word processor for Max OS X. I love it. I do think they offer a free trial; check it out.

ah to write for a month
and call in the community
of voices that spin
in your head sit them down
and put flowers at their feet
and massage their memories
in buble baths of praise
be kind to them as you are
and hug them to your heart
as you do
and learn to speak
the language
of the universe

This is such a beautiful shot :) I love the dof, the framing the angle and the ribbon snaking its way over the book.

The DOF is very nice.
So this is a moleskine? How do you like it? If I could actually stand writing by hand, I would definitly look into one.

I like Moleskines for their size and the handy band that holds it closed while it's tumbling about in a backpack. They also have a convenient little pocket in the back for storing loose notes or whatever.

What I don't like about them is the price.
