When I was a kid, we went to this Woolworth's, there was an entrance underground from the subway to enter the store. I thought it was the coolest thing.

Here are some coincidences for you… My Woolworth photo is also located on Market Street but it was located in my home town of New Albany, Indiana. My name is Powell and I did live in the Bay Area for a few years and have traveled on the Powel & Market Street cable car. I have shopped in downtown San Francisco and shopped in a number of Woolworth stores when I was a young boy.
