Remington Noiseless 8A rather unusual design from the '30s. In size, the 8 is midway between a portable and a standard. It was specifically targeted toward smaller offices that did not have the room for a big, heavy standard Noiseless but needed more features than a portable could provide. It's easily one of the most Art Deco typewriters Remington produced, right down to the hexagon knobs atop its ribbon spool covers. About 27,500 were made, a relatively small number compared to the over 200,000 Noiseless portables Remington made. Uploaded on Nov 30, 2009 March of the Leafbag Pumpkins
Every time I look out the window, they're a little bit closer to the house... Uploaded on Oct 30, 2009 ClosetrophobiaI cleared out the coat closet upstairs to use as a writing space during NaNoWriMo. The Kil-Klatter 3000 and my chair fit within nicely. On the shelf above are extra boxes of typing paper.
