Ambulocetus for Dr. Thewissen This is the origial acrylic painting I did the Dr. Hans Thewissen, the man leading the team that discovered Ambulocetus in Eocene rocks in Pakistan. I know now that the leg here was too long. I remember walking into the lad and seeing the reconstructed skeleton and saying to Hans without a second's hesitation, I made the femur too long.
