i went to a pizza hut in taiwan in the late 80s and my uncle did the same thing. it was also the first time i ever saw corn at a salad bar. i also wondered why you could only make one visit to the salad bar. over the years i've learned that we chinese hoard our food, thus there is no such thing as all you can eat in chinese countries.
