Jawoll ...... Euer Betteln hat ein Ende!!

In den nächsten Wochen und Monaten werden hier die Fotos aus dem sunup s erscheinen, die ich so sorgsam im Keller gehütet hatte.

Wird viel Arbeit. Bilder sortieren, einscannen, bearbeiten ..... nochmal bearbeiten .... und dann hoch damit auf die Server!

Geduld, Geduld, es wird sich lohnen!

Ach ja ... für die Kinder und Enkel und Urenkel der sunup s - Fans sei hier darauf verwiesen, dass es sich hier um das Gebäude in der Baumgartenstrasse handelt, in dem heute das "Loft" besteht. Das sunup s war damals in den Räumlichkeiten, die heute als "Cubes" bekannt sind und eine Weile als "Schmizz" betrieben wurden.

Es gehört sich natürlich auch, zu erwähnen, dass all die Bilder aus der Zeit noch nicht von mir gemacht wurden. Ich habe meine Liebe zur Fotografie erst mit Beginn der Digitalkamerazeit entwickelt.
Die Fotos von all den sunup s Mitarbeitern und Gästen hat zum großen Teil Frank B. gemacht. Und viele sind auch von Markus W.. Schon mal vielen Dank!
Was wäre noch übrig, wenn Ihr das nicht gemacht hättet!!



These picture-sets show the people and the partyguests of my discothek, called sunup's. In the last years from 1991 to 1995 I ran the Club. The time before I was working as a DJ there and was COO from 1985 to 1990.
During the almost 15 years there were roundabout 150.000 guests ..... every year!
And I worked together with 350 staff members over those years.
You will see, we had a lot of fun working there. Nearly every day of the week was a new party going on in the "ups" and now I sorted all this pictures, I found in my cellar after almost 12 years.
I would wish you all will have at least half of the fun I had, looking at this stuff and be sure, there is coming up a lot more of partyaction of all these great years!!
