Water marks on exposed red gum, 2007

Water marks on exposed red gum, 2007 by Museum of Australian Democracy at OPH.
Andrew CHAPMAN, born 1954.

The Hume Weir dropped to 2.4 per cent of capacity by mid February 2007, exposing many of the original Murray River red gum trunks. Water marks indicating previous dam levels can be seen on the upper branches of this tree, towering over Bethanga resident Doug Lowcock.

Bethanga, Victoria.
