Don Hamilton Memorial

Back like 13 years ago when I was still on Camp Staff, Don was our council executive in charge of support. His heart was certainly in the right place and he usually kept out of too much trouble but we always worried when we'd hear rumors of the 20 foot long assault raft he'd almost bought on auction for the waterfront. (We figured it would span half the river or so, not to mention storage & transportation). Other in-jokes include the handicraft department's baseball glove, crackerbarrel setup (chief for all upper-eschelon execs visiting camp), the imaginary truck I always imagine Don in and his beloved little dogs.

Also, the sunset symbolizing the beyond and the end of a life.

Or something.

View from the '09 Season Seats

Pete and I did pretty well, keeping us well within the cheap seats but retaining our powerful, commanding view.
