I've been playing around with some of my old photos and trying them out in b/w. This is a barren tree (called Reynir in Iceland, not sure about the English name) taken in the winter of 2010.

The bark of a "Reynitré" in winter. An old photo I found rummaging through my old photos. Not too bad in b/w I think.

Mt. Akrafjall once again. I really liked the clouds that day and decided to try and capture it and from a new angle. I thought the horses would make a good foreground. Hope you like it

Godafoss

Godafoss

This is Goðafoss in the Northern part of Iceland. It's about a 45 minutes drive from Akureyri. It is said that the name "Goðafoss" derives from when Iceland decided to be a christian society. Thorgeir Ljosvetningagodi, who got the job of deciding that at Althingi, is said to have gone here when he came home, with all his pagan statues or "goð" and threw them in. Thus the name "Goðafoss"

I might add that this photo is taken using multible exposures on the Nikon D300
