I'm having so much fun with this thing. Salling Clicker, alone, is great!

If anyone has any must-have Windows Mobile 5 apps, please leave a comment!

I've got one, and it's great...mobile interw3bs. I don't like that it drops my calls 50% of the time, especially when it's important (like driving and getting directions from someone).

I'd like that theme though, if possible. (I'd really like a black/green one though)

That's the skin. You'll need Wisbar Advance 2 to use it. It's trivial to customize, all of the images are just in a folder.

I played with one of these the other night... I still use my i730 for demo's and testing but my primary phone is the crackberry now (work!)

As for this or any WM5 phone...

MissingSync is a nice choice for Mac users

Great Neo
Thanks Chris

Jay,
My Dad is looking real hard at the i730, he's a Verizon user looking for a device he can pair with a BT GPS. (I have a Route 66 unit in the mail to me right now that we're gonna check out!)

Have you enjoyed your i730? Did you upgrade it to WM5?

I've been using Missing Sync for a long time with my Treo, so I bought it the day my 8125 came in. I had a HUGE head ache at first, I think because iSync's database was full of so much from the Treo. I cleared the database and things seem to work A LOT better now. My biggest gripe is that SplashData doesn't have syncronization between SplashID for WM5 and the Mac SplashID client. My life revolves around that program, so I had to install XP in a VMWare Fusion virtual machine just so I can sync to my existing SplashID database. Also helps me install software from developers who don't offer CAB files (Come on developers! You could have Mac customers too!)

Thanks for the tips. I'll have to check out Sling!

Not 'couldn't' Nick... wouldn't. I'm too addicted to smartphones to get an iphone, at least in its current iteration.

The i730 is getting long in the tooth... if he can hold off for the successor he'll probably be happier wrt speed and memory on board. I did the upgrade to WM5 myself (non-legit) and it made a huge difference in getting around without needing both hands to do something simple.
