Habitrail East Lansing
Not a great stitching job here, so I 'spect I'll be re-shooting and replacing this at some point...
This is the infamous "Habitrail" parking ramp in East Lansing...

Wow, that sure brings back memories. I can't even begin to imagine how many times I parked there.

THis brings back memories of when I had gerbils and had a whole Habitrail set up. It was a mess to clean ...

Lisa... same here (although I haven't owned a car for the last three years).
Ingrid... this one's probably a pain to clean as well!

Man, I can remember laughing our asses off when this was built.
Good stuff, PP.

You know what, though...? I think it's one of the coolest things in East Lansing. Perhaps that's not saying much, but I like that it adds a little colour to a rather drab downtown area.
Oh... and have you scrolled up and down real quick while looking at the this?

Habitrail? I always called it the "hampster cage," is it really called that?

It's my fault. I criticized the last parking structure they built before this one as terribly boring, and told the city council, "Come on, you can do something more creative than THAT!"
I have to say, though, that the thing has grown on me over the years.
