I like the lighting. It's almost like a scene from an old movie, I'm waiting for the phone to ring and hear some voice give intructions for a ransom delivery. I'd like to see how it looks in black & white.

Good composition, the phone booth frames the phone nicely. Definitely something of the past.

Can't be too many of these about. Is this for real or a part of a museum? The framing and cropping are both excellent here.

The Ancient Brit.  Pro User  says:

I’m there in that box. I’ve just put my fourpence in (real money, good old hones L.S.D., 12 pennies to the shilling, 20 shillings to the £1.) and I’m waiting to get through. If I do I will press button A (seen in the shot) but if not I will press button B (out of shot) and my pennies will rattle and clatter down to the returned coin box. Today the cost of a call from a phone box is 40p in decimal money, equivalent to 100 d in old money or 10 shillings (10/-). What strikes me is how authentic it all looks, right down to the way the metal trim is riveted to the bakelite shelf. The last person to use this box must be left handed judging how the receiver has been placed in its cradle.
The shot is very well composed showing a lot of detail, even the coin slot above the button A. The red provided a good contrast to the black. Thank you for the memory.

Thanks for the fantastic comments/faves everyone. For info the phonebox is one in a station in Pickering, North Yorkshire. The doors are 'welded' shut so its a permenant memory of the way phones were

plus: the lightning, composition, simplicitiy
minus: maybe the building in the background should be a little blurred. I wrote "maybe" :)
