White Wood Building

I've no idea the name but I found these made very photo-friendly images so there's a few of this 'garden and thing' style - couldn't get the focus how I wanted (no tripod)

Garden Dominoes

Or is it dominos? Either way we had a bit of fun playing in the afternoon sun - they had garden chess and draughts too - oh and croquet (but we didn't know the rules so just made them up)

Our Room

A view of the bedroom at the property we stayed in. Beautiful views over the formal garden and countryside visible from bed.

Strangely the paintings/drawings above the bed were of York! We travelled maybe 200 miles to a property in the middle of nowhere and it's got drawings of whence we came!

Hanbury Hall

A lovely National Trust property, we rented the 'north wing' for a few nights - it's the top-left section of the house - presumably previously the servants quarters but now a very nice 'holiday cottage' available through the trust
