This country's nightmare will come to an end
in Jan. of '09 and a new beginning will take
place for us all that will guide this country
back in the right direction.
Did anybody watch McCain's concession
speech? Opinions? I for one thought it was
eloquent and elegent, and for all practical
purposes, sincere.

Thank Christ it's over. However, without
being a sourpuss, I am so pleased that
America has finally woken up. If I had to
live under that old bastard McCain, I would
have been in a deep depression for the next 4
years. I just hope that Obama WILL do
something in the coming years. Talk got him
the election, action is something else.
Well done US

is gonna be king?"

Thanks for the comments, everyone. I'm
still in a state of shock, and it will take
me a while for this tremendous news to sink
in. I'm so excited that real change will finally take place in the White
House.
I'm confident that Obama will turn his words
into action, but miracles won't happen
overnight. Cleaning up George Bush's 8-year
mess is no small task, and Obama will face
some serious challenges during his
presidency. Still, I believe Obama, not
McCain, is the better candidate to guide the
United States during the next 4 years.
Adrienne, I never thought I'd live to see
this too. I'm glad both my Grandmothers are
still alive to see an African American
elected to the White House.
I wish I was in Chicago, too!

If you're referring to the rally in Chicago
on election night, I wasn't there. I was
celebrating here at home in Boston.

Obama is truly inspirational and a role model
for all. He has demonstrated that anything is
possible when one has hope and determination.
I am proud of him and the American people who
voted for change this time. World is watching
and waiting for Obama to make the change in
the next four years.

As of right now (10:08 pm, Jan. 18) it's less
than 48 hours before the end of an error is
corrected, and the best man for the office
takes his rightful place in the White House.
God Bless Barack Obama.
